A worn truck bed not only makes unloading more difficult, it is also unsafe, because the load initially starts to move at extreme dump angles. With OKUSLIDE, the subsequently installable plastic truck body liner, loads dump smoothly from the truck bed fast and without noteworthy residues.
Because of the outstanding resistance to wear, its impact and flexural strength, its water repelling properties and since it does not give rise to operational problems such as abrasive wear, caking or sticking of the bulk material. Ultra high molecular low pressure polyethylene is preferably used for linings in the coal industry. For some years high and ultra high molecular low pressure polyethylene has been used for lining silos, coke chutes, conveyor troughs and wagons, stripping plates for filter cake on rotary drum filters, for bearing seats, for the lining of air separators for coal dust etc. Over this period no caking has occurred. In efforts to control the noiselevel in mining, ultra high molecular low pressure polyethylene is used in form of rollers for conveyor belts and steel jointed band conveyors because of its good sound insulating properties. When ultra high molecular low pressure polyethylene is applicated in underground operations, attention has to be given to the Mine Security Regulations of the appropriate authorities in respect of antistatic finish.
OKULEN® OKUSLIDE is a special lining which was developed for Truck Liners for On- and Off Road dumpers. In applications with material flow problems a lot a time and money is lost. Our OKUSLIDE UHMW PE liner will help you to solve these problems.
This material is able to withstand higher temperatures and still keep its abrasion resistance. The improved low coefficient of friction (non-stick surface) makes this material ideal for lining applications, where sticking or caking creates a build up of material. OKULEN has taken a unique path in the mixing and preparation processes. We do not only rely on the usual mixtures but are continuously striving to develop improved combinations to achieve even better material properties. OKUSLIDE protects the truck body against wear and extends the life of the vehicle. Even in comparison with highly wear-resistant steels, the abrasion resistance of OKUSLIDE is more than twice as high.
Every kind of bulk material can glide better and faster from the truck bed. The angle when unloading the dumper can be lower for more safety. The moisture absorption of OKUSLIDE is virtually zero. So, an infiltration or sticking of materials is avoided. By adding a special filler we can improve the wear resistance to achieve an even better coefficient of friction. OKUSLIDE materials withstand low temperatures to -40°C (-40°F) without any reduction to mechanical properties. OKUSLIDE liners are available as complete systems which combines customer consultation, material selection, design and assembly.

Truck liner for 2 sided dump truck, wheel loader shovel and mud slip
"The material we transport here is very sticky. Despite this no material gets left behind in the tipping box when it is tipped to the side. When we tip it at the rear a little remains stuck on the strip which couldn’t be covered with plastic because of the option of tipping to the side, whereas the floor and the corner area of the closed side wall which are lined with OKUSLIDE are free of residue at the end.”
Mr. Dieter Busklas, driver for Recker Klinkerwerk (ABC Klinkergruppe)
"We’re totally satisfied with the material.”

Truck liner for aluminium tipping box
"To be cost-effective, I decided on an aluminium tipping box from the company Kögel. I can load 27 tonnes in it, whereas I can only load around 23 tonnes in a steel tipping box of the same size. With up to 15 trips a day that means I can shift an extra 60 tonnes of material. I can only manage that if I can load up again straight away after every trip and don’t need to clean anything or clear residual material with a shovel. With the new liner made of OKUSLIDEPremium Blue 589 which I had fitted in Ahaus in February 2006 that’s no longer any problem at all. The aluminium box is protected and the material begins to slide when it’s tipped only a little. In the winter preloaded material naturally tends to begin to freeze in the tipping box. Despite temperatures below the freezing point deep into to April this year, there were absolutely no problems with the lined tipping box.”
